$15,000 grant presentation to West Blocton Middle School will give every child in the school access to a computer.

Three Pelham parks will benefit from upgrades and renovations, thanks in part to a $23,334 grant announced by Gov. Bob Riley. The funds will enable the restoration of tennis courts at Pelham City Park and upgrades to picnic facilities at Pelham’s Coker and Fun Go Holler parks.

  • Finished an informative lunch with Bd of Directors and staff at AL General Contractors at their HQ in Birmingham.

August 31

  • Going over the plans for new YMCA facility in Alabaster. The Board has been working on this for a long time. Will be great for city.
  • Speaking to UA College Republicans tonight at 7:00pm.
  • Thank you UofA College Republicans for allowing me to speak w/ you tonight. You have a lot of energy & excitement heading into Nov!

  • Shelby County Legislative Delegation lunch today. We have a great delegation here and I think they are some of the best in Montgomery
