Over the last five years I have been fortunate to
visit with so many people throughout District 49. I am thankful for
the many friends I have had the opportunity to share stories with
throughout these visits. I believe that the best way to represent
the people who elected you to office is to discuss the problems and
successes that we have all shared. My favorite part of being a State
Representative is interacting with people throughout our state. I
have learned so much from listening and visiting with various people
from all over Alabama.
Below is just a small sample of the different events that I have had
the opportunity to attend over the last several years as well as
some personal photographs that I enjoyed. Julie and I look forward

District and Constituent
Events- Throughout my time in the
legislature I have had the opportunity to meet with various
organizations and constituents throughout Bibb and Shelby County. I
have learned a great deal from all of them and appreciate the
opportunity to represent them in the legislature
Ribbon Cuttings-
I have always felt that the business community is the backbone of
Alabama’s future. Throughout my service in office and my
personal career I have worked
hard to work with business leaders to make Alabama’s economy
stronger.
School Tours and Student
Visits- One of the most exciting aspect of
my job is being able to visit with the students and teachers of my
district. Over the last several years I visited with every school
district 49 and have enjoyed receiving so many students as guest at
our state capitol.
